Types of marine transportation Econo Shipping handles

  • Container service Container service
    • FCL (Full Container Load) shipping and transportation of one or more containers of cargo owned by one cargo owner (the shipper)
    • LCL ( Less than Container Load) shipping and transportation of one or more containers of cargo owned by multiple cargo owners.
    • Special Container shipping and transportation of liquid chemicals that cannot be shipped by a general container by an ISO tank, flat, rack, or reefer container, and cargo that is too bulky and heavy, or needs refrigerating or freezing.
  • Bulk service Container service
    • Break Bulk The cargo whose size or weight is too much for a container to accommodate so that is directly loaded from the inside of a pier or the deck by the side of a ship. A special container ship usually uses several flat rack containers to load these kinds of cargo.
    • Dry Bulk The containers of raw materials in large quantities such as iron ore, coal, grain, cement, etc., which are loaded on a special container ship.
    • Liquid Bulk A large amount of liquid cargo such as crude oil, LNG, and LPG
